Terms of use
What you can expect from tailorr, and what we expect back
This is the agreement between you and us. It is written to be read rather than clicked past, so it is short where it can be and explicit where being short would cost you something.
Two companion pages carry everything about your data and are not summarised here: the privacy policy, which is the legal account of what we hold and how to get rid of it, and Privacy, which goes further on exactly what the AI model is shown of you. Where these terms touch either, they link instead of paraphrasing.

Who you are agreeing with
tailorr is run by a sole trader. One person runs it; there is no company behind it and no team. Write to hello@tailorr.ink about anything on this page — it is the only address you need, and it reaches us directly.
Where tailorr is offered
Accounts are offered to residents of the United Kingdom. Prices are in pounds, these terms are written for a UK resident, and we do not market tailorr anywhere else. If you are outside the UK, this is not being offered to you.
How you accept this
By making an account and using tailorr. There is no tick box on the sign-up form, deliberately — a box people tick without reading proves nothing, and the screen that asks for your CV has enough on it already. The one thing you are asked to tick, during onboarding, is a separate consent to hold the sensitive parts of a career history, which the privacy policy explains and which is not this agreement.
Your account
One account per person, and you need to be 18 or over. Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. If you think somebody else has got into it, write to us and we will help you shut them out.
Credits, and what one buys
Credits are the only thing there is to buy. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing lapses while you are not looking. One credit is one Application — one job listing and everything written for it: the tailored resume, the AI-checker pages behind it, the PDF, a cover letter whenever you ask for one, and one Modification round to put right whatever the first pass got wrong.
The packs and their prices are on the pricing page, and are not repeated here — one published figure is enough, and two would eventually disagree. Three things about the price are part of this agreement rather than of the presentation:
- The price shown is the price charged. Every figure is VAT-inclusive, so nothing is added at the till and there is nothing for you to work out.
- Prices are in pounds, for everyone. Nothing is converted into a local currency behind your back.
- Credits never expire. A pack bought during one search is still a pack during the next one, however long that is, and the quiet stretches cost you nothing.
Every new account starts with one free credit
It produces exactly what a paid credit produces — the same resume, the same AI-checker pages, the same PDF, the same Modification round. It is one per account, and that is enforced in the database rather than by a rule we ask you to keep.
No PDF, no charge
If you did not get a document, you did not spend a credit. The credit returns automatically. That is deliberately a rule rather than a list of situations, so it also covers the ones nobody thought of in advance.
The line is whether a document exists, not whether you liked it. Wanting something changed about a document you did get is what the Modification round included in the credit is for, and a further credit buys three more rounds on that same Application.
Who sells you the credits
Onelink is the seller of record. When you buy a pack, your purchase contract is with Onelink, which handles the payment and the tax on it; your agreement to use tailorr is the one on this page, and that is with us. Card details go to Stripe and we never see them.
Two practical consequences, stated here so that neither is a surprise later: your receipt comes from Onelink rather than from us, and your card statement reads LINK.COM followed by our own descriptor. A charge you do not recognise on a statement is the most common reason somebody disputes a payment, which is exactly why it is written down before you buy rather than explained afterwards.
Refunds
Ask and you get your money back. Write to us, or to Onelink’s support, within 60 days of the purchase. We do not argue about it and we do not ask you to justify it — contesting a refund on a pack of credits costs more than the pack is worth, so the policy is simply not to.
You also have whatever rights UK consumer law gives you against the seller, including a cancellation right on a recent purchase. We have deliberately not written this section so that you have to work out which of us owes you what: the answer is the same either way, and the route is one email.
A refund reverses the credits it bought. If you had already spent them, that leaves you owing credits rather than holding them, and new generation is paused until that is cleared — by a later purchase, or by us writing it off, which we will do where it was a misunderstanding. Nothing you already have is taken away: every document, every Application and your whole Profile stay readable and downloadable. Removing them would recover nothing and would treat a genuine complaint exactly like fraud.
What tailorr writes, and what stays your job
tailorr writes from the career history in your Profile and is built so that it cannot invent experience you do not have — reordering, reweighting and framing generously are the whole of what it is licensed to do. That is enforced in the product rather than promised here.
It is still a machine writing prose, and you are the one who sends it. Read what comes out before an employer does. If something is wrong, tell tailorr — a correction is the highest-signal thing you can give it, it merges into your Profile whether or not a Modification round is available, and the next Application starts further along than the last.
We promise nothing about the outcome. Not an interview, not a reply, not a job, and no claim about how any particular employer’s software will treat your document. What is sold is the document and the work of tailoring it, not a result that depends on a hiring decision neither of us controls.
Nothing here makes a decision about you. The models write a document and rate how well your own history evidences a requirement; no application is filtered and no outcome is decided, and you review everything before it goes anywhere.
What you put in
Your Profile should be true, and it should be yours. Please do not upload somebody else’s CV, and where we ask you to write something we also ask you not to include health information, criminal record details, or information about other people — that request is next to the box for a reason.
Who owns what
Your Profile is yours and the documents are yours. Send them to whoever you like, edit them, put them on your own site; we ask for nothing back and take no licence over them beyond what running the product requires — storing them, rendering them, and sending them to you. tailorr itself, its templates and everything that makes it work stay ours.
Things we ask you not to do
The list is short because the product is small and the honest controls are structural rather than contractual:
- Do not run tailorr against other people’s career histories as a business of your own — handling strangers’ CVs at scale is your data-protection problem, not something to route through an account here.
- Do not try to break it, overwhelm it, or get at other people’s data, and do not scrape the pages or automate the product from the outside.
- Do not resell access to your account, and do not use tailorr to produce documents you know to be untrue.
Opening a second account to get a second free credit is not on this list. It is pointless rather than forbidden: the thing that makes tailorr good is a Profile that compounds, and a fresh account throws all of it away to save the price of one Application.
Availability, changes, and endings
There is no uptime promise, because one person runs this. tailorr will be down sometimes, for maintenance and for reasons that are nobody’s plan. What protects you is the refund rule above: a generation that produces no document costs you no credit.
We change the product as it improves, and we may change or withdraw parts of it. If a change takes away something you have already paid for, the refund route above is open.
If tailorr ever closes
We will tell you by email, leave time to take your data out, and refund credits you have not spent. Credits that never expire are worth nothing if the product can end without settling them, which is why this is written down while there is no particular reason to think about it.
Closing your account
You can leave whenever you like, from your account settings, and it is two deliberate steps: prepare your export, download it, then erase everything. It is a hard delete with no grace period and no dormant account left behind — the privacy policy sets out exactly what that reaches and what survives it.
We can suspend or close an account for the things in the list above, and we will say why. Where money is involved we would rather refund than argue, so a closure will not be how a refund gets avoided.
Where we stand if something goes wrong
Nothing here removes the rights UK consumer law gives you, and nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. If any part of this page conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights win.
Beyond that, and because of what tailorr costs: we are not liable for a job you did not get, an interview you were not offered, or an opportunity you missed, and our liability for everything else is limited to what you have paid for credits in the twelve months before the problem. These are terms for a consumer product bought a pack at a time, and they are not written to carry the risk of a career.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of the United Kingdom can hear a dispute about them — including the courts local to you.
Changes to these terms
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that materially affects what you have already bought — the price properties above, the refund rule, or what a credit buys — will be told to you by email before it applies to you, and the refund route is open if you do not want to carry on under it.
A change to what we do with your data is the privacy policy’s business rather than this page’s, and it has its own rule: where a change touches what you consented to for sensitive information, you are asked again.
